Green Hat Design has been proving web hosting for nearly 10 years.  Over that time our servers have produced a lot of carbon emissions.  We decided that it was time to do our part and to become part of the solution to climate change. 

Now, all of our servers run on 100% Wind Energy:

We use the wind energy produced from turbines to both power and cool our servers.  In fact, the turbines produce an excess of energy which we donate back to the grid.  We are not only neutralizing our impact on the environment but we are reversing it. 

Just how much does this help the environment.  The carbon  footprint removed by using wind energy is the equivalent of:
	Removing 444 cars from the road for a year, or Powering 321 homes with clean energy for a year, or Saving 5,654 barrels of oil, or Protecting 551 acres of forest for a year

Because of the importance and impact that we can have by hosting as many clients as possible with green energy, Green Hat Design is willing to offer free hosting to new customers as well as free web templates.
